A couple users pinged us this week about this feature. Unfortunately, it is not on the current feature roadmap, so I figured I would put together a simple example and publish it here. If you would like to add support for RSS feeds per tag within your Graffiti site, you can...(read more)

Creating a Twitter-like logo

I recently upgraded the look of the TwitterRatio site. The charcoal look was okay for starters but I wanted to make it look more Twitter-like, something that I’d noticed that a lot of other Twitter utility sites had been doing. In the process I created a Twitter-like logo and thought I’d share how it was done in case one of you loyal readers was wondering just how to make a Twitter-like logo for yourself. Additionally I thought it was about time to impress you once again with my less than adequate...(read more)

SSWUG.ORG Spring vConference

Yes, I am speaking at the SSWUG.ORG Spring vConference. Some like Twitter get tons of press. Others, provide a quality service to a loyal set of users but largely remain out of the spotlight. Here are four services which you might not have heard of, but I highly recommend you look into. 1. Instapaper – So much to read, so little time. Instapaper provides a very simple unobtrusive way to save a link to be read later. I briefly thought about the new ASP.NET Chart control , but that is .NET 3.5 and my current code base is still .NET 2.0. I probably could migrate the code to 3.5 painlessly enough, but “if it ain’t broke…”. I have some experience with amCharts , and they provide an option to use any of their products for freeda, with the only limitation being a small link to their web site being displayed in the top left corner of every chart. I had read about the Google Chart API...(read more)
