I had a chance to work on a great project earlier this year with two very talented co-workers: Wyatt Preul and Ben Tiedt. The project was Professional Community Server Themes - a WROX book. I had the pleasure of serving as the Technical Editor. Between the awesome information provided by Wyatt and Ben and the excellent example set by Rosanne Koneval, the Development Editor, I learned a ton about both Community Server's Theming Engine, Chameleon, and the book development experience. It was really my pleasure to be a part of the project.
Wrox’s Professional Community Server Themes is one the first guide to the Chameleon theming engine. Inside, Telligent developers Wyatt Preul and Ben Tiedt share their experience with Community Server, and teach readers how to extend their implementation with theming. Professional Community Server Themes is heavy on fully implemented examples, making this a hands-on guide that will get readers customizing the look of their Community Server install quickly.
I've been dying to get the word out about this book for months, but I've kept pretty tight-lipped. Since the book was recently added to Amazon and Ben added a link to it on his blog, I figured it was about time that I should do the same. It will be an awesome Community Server resource. Grab a copy, you will not be disappointed.
