For a little change of pace I decided to compose and record a dance/electronica song. My DAW of choice is Cubase 4.1. This song consists of 14 tracks of audio containing electronic drums, piano, synth strings, and various sound effects. I composed the drums in Jamstix 2. I did the synth parts on my Yamaha XS using the XS sounds as well as Spectrasonic Atmosphere and Stylus RMX. I played the piano part on my Yamaha S90ES. The mix plugins were all Universal Audio mostly consisting of the 1176LN and the precision limiter across the mix bus. Hope you like it!
