  • Vista Tips #1

This is the first in what I hope will turn into a new series of quick and easy Windows Vista tips. As I find hidden gems in Vista I will post them here and the first one is pretty useful to me. • Windows Vista x64 and My First Driver Problem

So after about two weeks of very happy computing with Vista x64, I have found the first device I can't use with it. I have the Canon EOS 350d/Rebel XT and it seems Canon have no driver support at all for the 64bit platform. It's not a huge deal though as I'll just have to get a Compact Flash...

Further to my earlier post , when my new machine arrives, I need to decide whether I run 64bit windows, or stick with 32bit. I have tried the x64 version a few times in the past, and it always seems to be on the way to installing the 32bit version due to endless compatibility issues. I have checked that...
